On the wings of an Angel

Many things can make for a great design but who can one-up an Angel.....no one in my book! So I sat down at my studio workbench the other day and out came this unique OOAK chair. I call it my Angel Wings Ladies Chair:

A Heavenly wood chair that's inventively stunning

Lavishly covered in a soft blue silk & antique lace

And, oh look. here's a beautiful Angel Wings Ladies Dressing Table

filled with wonderful writing supplies, perfume bottle, crystal lamp and more

Even the gold cord trim and silk ribbon bows say "Heavenly"

My miniature furniture is such a treat for me to create and there's plenty more on the way! You'll find this wonderful Angel Wings Ladies Chair and Dressing Table in  my Etsy shop , along with many other one of a kind treasures for the collector who wants to treat themself to the finest of statement pieces.

Grand High Witch....It's Her Perfect Week to Haunt!

There are all kinds of witches.....good ones, seasonal ones, not so good ones, career ones, helpful ones and evil ones............the Grand High Witch put the Ug in the Ugly one, don't ya think!

Most of the witches I create have a somewhat whimsical spooky look to them but recreating the Grand High Witch herself moves her to the very top on the LoreleiBlu spook-o-meter. There is nothing whimsical to the eye….she’s just plain nasty….like her character in the movie, Witches. She morphs from beautiful and pleasant, into one scary dame, right before your eyes. Now that's what I call movie magic.

Angelica Houston is one of my favorite actresses and in real life everything about her spells class. But when in character….everything about her as a witch spelled “look away before I takes your eyesight”.

What a dame…..the Witch of Witches for sure. This Halloween keep an eye out for her, while you still can! If you like witches and you have not seen the movie of same name........it's a must.  I really enjoyed being commissioned to create the Grand High Witch in all her nightmarish glory for one of my very special collectors.......how about you, what's your fancy?

This time of year my Etsy Shop has a full crew of witches and other wonderful characters hoping to become part of your miniature fantasy world. LoreleiBlu commisions OOAK Dolls and miniature furniture

This is a commission I did for a 1940's arm chair & sideboard. I also created the Cathedral radio and all the bits and bobs in and on the sideboard. The devil is always in the details. The doll is Mayhem Mac Gregor. She and her furniture live in Newhaven, England. May is the sister of Lettie Makepeace. They are the first in the Angry Housewives Collection.

There are more 1940's Angry Housewives coming in 2016.
