From the LoreleiBlu Miniatures Studio to your home......Happy Holidays!

Halloween..........it's Elvira time!

Another benefit of living and having my studio located in Las Vegas is knowing that Elvira lives right here in my town, just a stones throw away.

In addition to our famous "Vegas Strip" with 24-7 gaming, world class dining, entertainment and a constant flow of major Celebs, we have Elvira as a local hanging out around our desert........pretty cool, eh!

So one day I decide to pay tribute to her and create a miniature doll with a personality, face and figure that many of us remember fondly. To me Elvira has all three........she is a modern day beauty that draws a crowd whenever she makes an appearance in full character.

Elvira......Mistress of the Dark

Add a splash of color and you really catch her radiance

Of course it's a skull footstool

She's fully poseable so even in her beautiful black gown she can relax

I had fun designing her outfit, and fixing her hair

Even the Mistress of the Dark needs to catch 5 between camera takes

I'd love to meet her in person some day and enjoy a chat over a cup of my special tea......yummm! My Etsy Shop is standing room only with miniature dolls of all sorts from Alice in Wonderland to dear Goode Witch Hattie. Please visit: LoreleiBlu Miniatures OOAK Signed Collector Art Dolls

NO TRICK - I have a special announcement to share with you on Halloween that I hope you'll find a treat, stay tuned!

Grand High Witch....It's Her Perfect Week to Haunt!

There are all kinds of witches.....good ones, seasonal ones, not so good ones, career ones, helpful ones and evil ones............the Grand High Witch put the Ug in the Ugly one, don't ya think!

Most of the witches I create have a somewhat whimsical spooky look to them but recreating the Grand High Witch herself moves her to the very top on the LoreleiBlu spook-o-meter. There is nothing whimsical to the eye….she’s just plain nasty….like her character in the movie, Witches. She morphs from beautiful and pleasant, into one scary dame, right before your eyes. Now that's what I call movie magic.

Angelica Houston is one of my favorite actresses and in real life everything about her spells class. But when in character….everything about her as a witch spelled “look away before I takes your eyesight”.

What a dame…..the Witch of Witches for sure. This Halloween keep an eye out for her, while you still can! If you like witches and you have not seen the movie of same name........it's a must.  I really enjoyed being commissioned to create the Grand High Witch in all her nightmarish glory for one of my very special collectors.......how about you, what's your fancy?

This time of year my Etsy Shop has a full crew of witches and other wonderful characters hoping to become part of your miniature fantasy world. Hold hands with a like minded friend, enter my world of creations and enjoy shopping for your OOAK  certified and signed new best friend  Visit LoreleiBlu Miniatures on Etsy

Frankie and his Misses...........they're back!

What comes to mind when you hear the name Frankenstein? A science experiment, big guy with a flattop and stitches all over, tortured soul with a second chance to breathe life into his world, Boris Karloff (dating myself). And what about his wife, Mrs. Frankie, she developed a personality of her own, a real trend setter with attitude.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein have been part of my creations for some time. It's been fun getting to know their story from when I was just a little girl and then many years later having the opportunity to keep their legend alive by being commissioned to create my vision of the handsome couple for a valued collector that reached out to me through LoreleiBlu Miniatures!

Frankie and his mate were scary way before Hollywood developed the kind of special effects that now makes one fear entire countries not just things that go bump in the night.

Here's Frank - the face that launched a thousand nightmares

And Mrs. Frankenstein is a beauty

Frankie on Halloween after the final candy dish was emptied

Although Mr. and Mrs.Frankenstein now live a happy life at a dear collector friend of mine in Michigan...you'll find plenty of other spooky vampires, witches, Muertos, skulls and other items that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand tall. Visit LoreleiBlu Miniatures on Etsy

And if you're trick or treating with the kids this Halloween in that fine State of Michigan, just remember the Frankensteins might answer the door you knock on next. Be scared.............be very scared!  Happy Haunting to all.

Pre-Party Prep..........my newest Dia Los Muertos creation!

Just two weeks before Halloween and then add one day and it's the celebrated Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States.

As the pre-party starts up in my miniatures studio here in Vegas a new member of LoreleiBlu Miniatures has made her way to center stage.

Please meet and welcome Esperansa:
