A new year and another EPIC one to create and enjoy!

Ho-Ho-Hold the ordinary and collect an original creation that will provide you with a lifetime of pleasure!

Much needed time away from my studio over the holidays gave me the opportunity to reflect on my craft, the treasures I've created in years past and my future goals. My decision is to expand LoreleiBlu Miniatures offerings with more, and uniquely different, one of a kind miniatures from character dolls, exciting and whimsical doll house furniture, beautiful hand painted portraits and even unique musical instruments.

In the past few weeks here are just a few of my new creations -

My hand painted cherry blossom chair in antique velvet

Feast your eyes on my silk Knole Settee

Original style was 17th. century from Knole in Kent

I painted this Early American style portrait and made the custom frame

Here's my Russian 3 string Balalaika, hand-crafted & hand-painted

My renewed love for what I do is starting my year out with this grand vision...have fun and share it with collectors around the world. That's exactly what I'm doing and I hope you enjoy my expansion. Please drop in on my Etsy shop, brows around and remember, all of my creations are OOAK originals never to be duplicated, so buy what you like before it's gone....and do tell your friends!

A Haunting We Will Go - part 3

The beauty about being a miniature doll artist is that I can create people, furniture, fixtures, accessories, most anything related to the miniature doll world the way I see them, lifelike or total fantasy. It truly is my world, how's that for being blessed!

And this time of year is especially precious to my studio time because I'm wild about Halloween - Witches, Warlocks, Vampires, the occult, good & evil. I let my imagination run in any direction that builds adventure and unique OOAK creations for my collectors world-wide.

Just the other day I decided it would be fun to create a settee like none I'd seen before, except in my mind. So I started building an image and pictured it in my head. From there I transferred that vision to my hands and then into my finger tips.

Here's the end result........feast your eyes on a Witches Settee like no other, I guarantee it:

Upholstered in 5 different fabulously fun Halloween cotton fabrics

Another LoreleiBlu original......with 7 pillows (5 are removable) to make a room full of comfort for

the favorite friends in your doll house, cottage or magnificent room box

And I don't know about you but I never seem to have enough drawer space in most of my rooms so I created this classic full moon chest of drawers:

The Full Moon Chest of Drawers.......a Witchalicious
Shabby Chic look that Glows in the Dark

My Etsy Shop is a Witch's hangout , how about grabbing a friend or two and stopping in for a proper cup of Yorkshire Tea and a good spooky story...it's that time of year you know! There's plenty to feast your eyes on with lots of detailed pictures and full descriptions of each treasure for sale.

Most creations don't stay around long so come and ring the bell that hangs over my cauldron today.

Halloween..........it's Elvira time!

Another benefit of living and having my studio located in Las Vegas is knowing that Elvira lives right here in my town, just a stones throw away.

In addition to our famous "Vegas Strip" with 24-7 gaming, world class dining, entertainment and a constant flow of major Celebs, we have Elvira as a local hanging out around our desert........pretty cool, eh!

So one day I decide to pay tribute to her and create a miniature doll with a personality, face and figure that many of us remember fondly. To me Elvira has all three........she is a modern day beauty that draws a crowd whenever she makes an appearance in full character.

Elvira......Mistress of the Dark

Add a splash of color and you really catch her radiance

Of course it's a skull footstool

She's fully poseable so even in her beautiful black gown she can relax

I had fun designing her outfit, and fixing her hair

Even the Mistress of the Dark needs to catch 5 between camera takes

I'd love to meet her in person some day and enjoy a chat over a cup of my special tea......yummm! My Etsy Shop is standing room only with miniature dolls of all sorts from Alice in Wonderland to dear Goode Witch Hattie. Please visit: LoreleiBlu Miniatures OOAK Signed Collector Art Dolls

NO TRICK - I have a special announcement to share with you on Halloween that I hope you'll find a treat, stay tuned!

Witchy Woman......Your Time is Now!

Three weeks from today the streets will be teaming with screaming kids and parents alike. Another Halloween is almost here and what a treat it is for tricksters, fortune tellers, witches, ghouls and your favorite super hero goblins.......yummy!

It's a day where I could be anyone or anything I wanted to be. Maybe a princess....or a hobo riding the rails...or a cartoon character...or my favorite actor - villain or hero. The world was my stage and I so loved playing all the parts. And years later I turned my love for fantasy, mystery and the element of "I can be anyone I want to be" into my miniature creations. It's all at my fingertips and I sure do have fun creating for me...and for my collectors.

Here is an example.......meet Chloe:

Here is my friend Chloe Dragonflower

Chloe is a Fortune Teller Witch who can read your mind

Chloe is a reader of life, past and future and she'll share her findings with you
(on sale in my Etsy Shop, along with many other special-talent friends)

Her tools of the trade are her sixth sense, tarot cards,Ouija board and all of life's lessons she has experienced through her years of uncovering the answers to the questions many of us have.......haunting, isn't it!

Please visit my LoreleiBlu Miniatures on Etsy  and share it with your friends, they'll thank you for it and I thank you in advance!

Please meet Antonio, a Dia Los Muertos OOAK commission doll I created                                           His eyes tell quite the story!

And Lilith the Vampire Ghost - properly attired in distressed flowing silk chiffon
(for sale in my Etsy Shop)
