Guess Who's Coming to Town!

Christmas - Hanuka - Kwanzaa....what ever you celebrate, it's a time to share tender times with family and friends be they big or miniature size!

Here at the LoreleiBlu Miniatures studio we celebrate life and all of you, be you a collector or just a fan of dolls of all sizes and their accessories. The doll world affords us many opportunities to enjoy life, more often than just living in our day to day surroundings. In my one of a kind world I can be anyone or anything I choose to be, hang out with anyone I can imagine and create new memories that often reflect back on the past.

My special place is filled with love and laughter and my goal is to help you create your special place, surrounded by miniature people that have big personalities, small egos and help create very happy memories for you and your loved ones.

These two friends need no introduction.........

All the way from the North Pole

Mr. and Mrs. Claus....the guests of honor

Friends of millions of folks for hundreds of years, country to country- no matter what the language, the dress or the world situation. Santa and Mrs. Claus are my one of a kind contributions to these joyous holidays. You'll find them in my Etsy shop, along with many friends from around the globe, world class OOAK miniature furniture and delightful accessories.

And if you find something you like there's time for Santa to get it to your doll house, room box, castle or cottage before the big day! But don't wait, if you see things you must have, act fast....all of my creations are one of a kind, hand made with no molds so once it's gone, it's gone for ever!

Please take a little well deserved time during these fun filled days and drop in for a relaxed visit of my creations. I think you'll find it to be an experience that you'll want to share with your friends. And Mrs. Claus will even serve you a proper cup of tea!

Which Witch is Which.....take your Pick! Part 2

Time for a show of hands.......how many miniature doll fans can't wait for Halloween? Well I'm right there with you! My favorite time of year for Witches and other characters that go "bump in the night".

Here is another example of how much fun I have developing my characters. I call it my 3-Cs process which stands for Concept - Creation - Costuming. I've been creating and expanding my family of Witches for you to enjoy and to give you the opportuity to make them your very own:

Maggie Thistledown and her Skull Balloon

And with Fall in the air along comes the American Miniaturist October Issue with their Halloween Gallery entitled "It's time to get A Little Spooked", featuring my Vampires Charles & Lisette Moonblood along with my  Witches Goode Witch Ivory Whitesage and Goode Witch Hebsebah Nightwing (pages 57-58). Subscriptions have been mailed, Not a subscriber - NO problem, you can purchase the single Issue 162 in print or digital form, just log on to American Miniaturist for details.

I'm on a buying trip for the remainder of September seeking out unique exquisite vintage and classic materials along with other treasures to create more wonderful characters. Happy Haunting from LoreleiBlu and my band of Witches! Visit my Etsy Store

Angry Housewives Series - Miniature dolls

Lettie Makepeace is the first in the collection of Angry Housewives. They are all 1940's style. Lettie is the spokesperson on my LoreleiBlu Miniatures shop on Etsy.com. Formerly, West Of The Blu Moon Studio, LoreleiBlu, I wanted to simplify the name and give the shop a fresh new look. We now can be found by LoreleiBlu Miniatures or LoreleiBlu. Stop by and see what's new. I'm trying to list at least one new creation every Friday afternoon. Remember, it takes many hours and days of work to create one item so please be patient as I may run over a day or 2. Also if you ever have an idea for a character doll for me to create, please send me a message. I love hearing from my followers about what they would love. Thank you ll for liking my page an for your wonderful comments. If you haven't "LIKED" my page yet...please take the time to do so. I would greatly appreciate it. When I get over 200+ likes I will do a doll give away contest as a thank you. Here's to making 2016 a great year for LoreleiBlu! I can't do it without you.
