This Bed is for the Birds!

My shop is buzzzzin with the sound of new creations being moved to the shelves inside as we reach record temperatures outside the LoreleiBlu Miniatures studio in beautiful Las Vegas Nevada!

And the beauty of this time of year is that my focus is mixed between unique One Of A Kind doll house beds and my new doll creations that enjoy relaxing and sleeping peacefully on/in them.

One of my latest such crafted works of art is what I call The Raven Bed:

Comes alive with the Raven skull watching over the master,

As the room darkens the clouds....

........moon and stars come alive,

And all GLOW in the dark of night!

The Raven Bed is fit for a King, a Warlord........or maybe even Vlad himself, think of the possibilities.

So while it's sweltering outside of my studio...........we're staying cool and having a ball inventing new OOAK treasurers for distinctive collectors the world over! Please steal a few moments out of your day to drop by and Visit my Etsy Shop where a world of wonderment awaits you and your friends.

A Memorable Memorial Day to All!

What your world needs is more miniature dolls and less stress this year! I'm on a crusade to de-stress my life along with that of my collectors. We are all a very rare breed of folks that know what we like and go for it when we see it!

With that in mind LoreleiBlu Miniatures continues to design the right new treasures to make your doll house, room box or cottage even more memorable than ever.

I've created two new miniature character dolls that I'd like to introduce to you now, please meet Emily and Lady Sybil:

Emily my new Victorian Friend

Emily with her fine details

Lady Sybil

Lady Sybil - with hair to match the style of her hat

Each doll is a OOAK 1/12th. scale, fully poseable doll wearing a beautiful handmade costume. Emily is dressed in a fine cotton fabric and has antique lace collar, cuffs and an antique lace shawl. Lady Sybil is a walking beauty,,,,,,,,,dressed for a stroll in the country side and decked out in top hat and skull walking stick. A true diva of her time!!

If exciting, rare and unique is how you've created your world please visit my LoreleiBlue Miniatures Etsy Shop and introduce yourself to the group of fine fancy ladies and gentlemen that await you.

Halloween..........it's Elvira time!

Another benefit of living and having my studio located in Las Vegas is knowing that Elvira lives right here in my town, just a stones throw away.

In addition to our famous "Vegas Strip" with 24-7 gaming, world class dining, entertainment and a constant flow of major Celebs, we have Elvira as a local hanging out around our desert........pretty cool, eh!

So one day I decide to pay tribute to her and create a miniature doll with a personality, face and figure that many of us remember fondly. To me Elvira has all three........she is a modern day beauty that draws a crowd whenever she makes an appearance in full character.

Elvira......Mistress of the Dark

Add a splash of color and you really catch her radiance

Of course it's a skull footstool

She's fully poseable so even in her beautiful black gown she can relax

I had fun designing her outfit, and fixing her hair

Even the Mistress of the Dark needs to catch 5 between camera takes

I'd love to meet her in person some day and enjoy a chat over a cup of my special tea......yummm! My Etsy Shop is standing room only with miniature dolls of all sorts from Alice in Wonderland to dear Goode Witch Hattie. Please visit: LoreleiBlu Miniatures OOAK Signed Collector Art Dolls

NO TRICK - I have a special announcement to share with you on Halloween that I hope you'll find a treat, stay tuned!

Pheasant Under Glass...........nope, A SKULL!

Although creating dolls is my favorite artistic passion I wanted to mix up my studio production time  so I started creating skulls in  glass domes (sounds like a new TV Sci-Fi series).

Sculpting each doll from a solid block of polymer clay (no molds used, ever, to create my dolls) and making them poseable are major talents I use in my creative process. That, along with full original costuming breathes life into my OOAK characters. However.....halloween time is perfect to add new products for my collectors.

With my Skull in a Glass Dome series, I distress each skull one at a time and design a personality for these wonderful resin skulls (from Cathy's Minis). My vision starts from the neck up which forces my creative process to totally focus on styling hair, neck and facial dressings to achieve the look I'm going for. And boy do I have fun at my studio "beauty shop" designing them!

Here are a few examples of OOAK fantasy skulls I've created:

Lucy the Vampire from Bram Stoker's Novel - Dracula

Marie Antoinette

Life of the party - Marie and her beautiful hair style

Mermaid Skull

Mermaid Skull (close up) - A Real Conversation Piece

Dia Los Mueros Skull

Imagine how fun it will be to decorate a room in your doll house or room box with an original Skull in a Glass Dome this Halloween. There's time to do it if you move quickly. Visit LoreleiBlu Miniatures on Etsy

Make your Halloween doll house collection very special now and for years to come with a little of your own skullduggery.........in a glass dome, priceless!
