Halloween...the Crescendo!

Yep....it has arrived, the night of nights, the friends of past are here at last! And what better way to welcome them back then with candy and cookies and Kitkats, OH MY!

So I'm making this one short so we can all freshen up our makeup and go scare the heck out of the neighbors....or whoever you hang out with on this night of nights.

Wanted to take a moment to say THANKS to these old pals who scared the Holy H#@% out of us as kids many years back:

The Three Amigos of fear and fright from the past...can you get their names right?

Then their's my creation of fear and fright today - Hecate' Dragonblood

And let us not forget the fantastic writers that took away our sleep, like Poe & King

So I'll say to you my collectors and friends of the miniature world....my creations are small in size and larger than life in spirit. Be safe and grab that moon to share with others you know, that get it.

Happy Halloween from my team at LoreleiBlu Miniatures, may you rest ever so peaceful on this night of fright.

Happy Haunting,

LoreleiBlu

Spooky Town6

It's more than the season of the Witch...........so I have created the Vampire Count and I had the time of my life doing it. It's kind of like writing a romance novel. Creating my characters the way I want them to look.....to present the feeling and flavor of what I choose at the moment.

At that moment when I created Count Morpheus Rex I had the vision of a Vampire that you'd feel good about when you sat and shared a nice glass of RED wine...of course! And then when the chat went to "what blood type are you my dear" you'd excuse yourself from the table and bolt out the door! OK, you get the point....now meet the Count:

Count Morpheus Rex relaxes with the skull of his love

Wickedly Elegant Vampire Count prefers fine silk

Notice his silken silver hair with the purple streak...perfect for the time

If you enjoy Vampires, Witches, Ghosts and other classic characters that will bring new life to your world of mystery....it's more than time to visit LoreleiBlu's Etsy shop and be delighted once more!

With Halloween less than 48 hours away why not drop in for a cup of blood....I mean tea, a cup of tea with me. See what collectors the world over have discovered...it's a world apart from most miniature doll artists. It's fantasy - fun and a grand place to uncover your next treasure to adorn your doll house, room box, cottage or castle.

Hey....who's more deserving than you to have what makes you feel good about your life!

Do you know where the expression "ride like the wind" comes from? Well I'll let you in on a little secret, the broom has been around for centuries and after all those many years I'm still making them the same way as back then.....by hand, of fine natural wood found in the forest, seasoned straw from the fields, and one at a time.

Think about it, no respectable Witch would be without one. And my latest new friend put her order in and tested it out just days ago, right outside the LoreleiBlu Miniature Studio in beautiful moonlit Las Vegas!

I'm please to introduce all to Goode Witch Grimhilda Twistedbelfry and her pet bat kitty, Alley:

She's hoping to visit you very soon

Grimhilda loves her Olde Wolrld Witchie style

She even has bat wings to turbo charge her broom rides

Like all of my dolls, she's poseable, enjoys sitting, standing or flying the haunting sky

Grimhilda Twistedbelfry is ready to explore the world and maybe it's time for her to land in your doll house, room box, castle or Witches cottage, broom - kitty and all, to spend Halloween with you! Take a little ride through my hauntingly delicious Etsy shop and feel free to bring your friends. This time of  year is a perfect time to enjoy another look around at the Witches, Vampires, Ghosts and excitingly different furniture and accessories that await you.

Windup to Spooky Town!

It was just the other day that one of my collectors asked me where I come up with my ideas to create from the bazaar to the beautiful and all things in between. My answer.....my dreams lead my way!

I'm very fortunate to have a vivid imagination.....have had since I was a kid and I put it to work for me every time I sit at my studio console to create!. From the fantasy side of life to the real 40's and 50's I enjoy building my dreams in clay and then dressing them with lovely fabrics that compliment and tell the story of the character.

Here's another example....meet the one and only (drum roll please):

I present Vampire Martine Ravenblood

From her Mad Hatters Hat to her micro bead button boots

Dessed in fine silk with all the special touches

Hair of black and silver viscose with removable hat and crystal topped cane

Martine Ravenblood is another very special OOAK Vampire Witch that I so enjoyed creating for your special doll house, room box, castle or witch's cottage. She is fully posable and dressed with the flair and style that my miniature dolls are known for. To see more pictures of Martine and to enjoy cruising my Etsy Shop just waive and click your magic mouse here.

A Hunting We Will Go - part 8

So my creative and somewhat twisted mind is working in overdirve and I ask what's scarier than a portrait hanging on the castle wall when it comes alive and the figure jumps out at you? And since a picture is worth a thousand words, check out Jack coming through the glass......you be the judge:

You and your friends are starting to assemble in the parlor when....

Jack the Creeper decides to pay you all a personal visit

Panic attack.......hyperventilate....faint........head for the hills, the possibilities are endless. May be a good time to make sure your insurance policy is current and covers injuries caused by fright because "STUFF" happen, especially in LoreleiBlu's miniatures world of Witches, Vampires, Werewolves and other spooky hauntalicious creations. Might I also mention the funtastic furniture, spooky or classic styles, that are waiting for our moving van to deliver to your special castle, doll house, cottage or room box this month.

Seeing is believing, just stop in to LoreleiBlu Miniatures Etsy Shop and witness all the madness for yourself. Fantasy and fabulous One Of A Kind Halloween and other less frightening creations abound and are sure to thrill you, your friends and your fellow collectors.

A Haunting We Will Go - part 3

The beauty about being a miniature doll artist is that I can create people, furniture, fixtures, accessories, most anything related to the miniature doll world the way I see them, lifelike or total fantasy. It truly is my world, how's that for being blessed!

And this time of year is especially precious to my studio time because I'm wild about Halloween - Witches, Warlocks, Vampires, the occult, good & evil. I let my imagination run in any direction that builds adventure and unique OOAK creations for my collectors world-wide.

Just the other day I decided it would be fun to create a settee like none I'd seen before, except in my mind. So I started building an image and pictured it in my head. From there I transferred that vision to my hands and then into my finger tips.

Here's the end result........feast your eyes on a Witches Settee like no other, I guarantee it:

Upholstered in 5 different fabulously fun Halloween cotton fabrics

Another LoreleiBlu original......with 7 pillows (5 are removable) to make a room full of comfort for

the favorite friends in your doll house, cottage or magnificent room box

And I don't know about you but I never seem to have enough drawer space in most of my rooms so I created this classic full moon chest of drawers:

The Full Moon Chest of Drawers.......a Witchalicious
Shabby Chic look that Glows in the Dark

My Etsy Shop is a Witch's hangout , how about grabbing a friend or two and stopping in for a proper cup of Yorkshire Tea and a good spooky story...it's that time of year you know! There's plenty to feast your eyes on with lots of detailed pictures and full descriptions of each treasure for sale.

Most creations don't stay around long so come and ring the bell that hangs over my cauldron today.
