A Haunting We Will Go - part 3

The beauty about being a miniature doll artist is that I can create people, furniture, fixtures, accessories, most anything related to the miniature doll world the way I see them, lifelike or total fantasy. It truly is my world, how's that for being blessed!

And this time of year is especially precious to my studio time because I'm wild about Halloween - Witches, Warlocks, Vampires, the occult, good & evil. I let my imagination run in any direction that builds adventure and unique OOAK creations for my collectors world-wide.

Just the other day I decided it would be fun to create a settee like none I'd seen before, except in my mind. So I started building an image and pictured it in my head. From there I transferred that vision to my hands and then into my finger tips. 

Here's the end result........feast your eyes on a Witches Settee like no other, I guarantee it:

A Haunting We Will Go!

Show of hands...........who enjoys the last day of October as much as I do? Wow, look at all the hands up and the huge smiles on your faces, that's the spirit, literally. 

With "All Hallows' Eve" fast approaching I've picked up my magic wand and created some new friends. Meet one such new star, the Countess:

Vampire Countess Luna Moondragon

Luna is dressed from head to shoes in luscious silk

I hand painted her underskirt and bodice then applied tiny handmade roses to her gown.

Vampire Countess Luna Moondragon also has on black silk bloomers with a black lace petticoat, beautiful purple silk slippers with lace and silk ribbon accents, rings on both hands, a lovely bracelet, tiny earrings and aubergine silk hair. To top off her one of a kind style I created a pewter skull walking stick and a specially made fan. She is the perfect Countess of royalty to bring any doll house or room box to life!
