How To Make Your Boudoir Special

Wow......that was fast, The Raven Bed was featured in my blog on 7/9 and it's already sold and shipped across the country to a new home. My thanks to all for your great response, and positive comments.

Now feast your eyes on another new One Of A Kind creation that might just bring warmth and a great new look to your doll house, I call it The Louise:

It's painted a lovely lavender then aged and distressed to look very classic!

Notice the real cotton patchwork quilt duvet with vintage lace edging.

Eight individual pillows all have lace and silk ribbon embellishments made to pamper.

The Louise bed comes fully dressed with a fitted sheet, matching flat sheet and a bed skirt that was created from a 1900's ladies night gown....all dressings are custom hand made of course! The head and foot boards are painted free-hand with purple flowers, green leaves and they are adorned with baby's breathe. It is a beauty and would look lovely in a cottage, doll house or special room box.

This Bed is for the Birds!

My shop is buzzzzin with the sound of new creations being moved to the shelves inside as we reach record temperatures outside the LoreleiBlu Miniatures studio in beautiful Las Vegas Nevada!

And the beauty of this time of year is that my focus is mixed between unique One Of A Kind doll house beds and my new doll creations that enjoy relaxing and sleeping peacefully on/in them.

One of my latest such crafted works of art is what I call The Raven Bed:

Comes alive with the Raven skull watching over the master,

As the room darkens the clouds....

........moon and stars come alive,

And all GLOW in the dark of night!

The Raven Bed is fit for a King, a Warlord........or maybe even Vlad himself, think of the possibilities.

7 Days into Summer and Look............

For many of you, the kids are out of school and finding fun stuff to do. For me, it's back to my Blu Moon studio bench and I sure am having fun too! 

I've been creating new OOAK dolls and accessories like this delicate and precious carriage:

Royal Baby Pram

It's a 1/12 scale baby carriage that is perfect for that special baby in your doll house. Fashionable with a total touch of royal class in colors of red, purple and black with gold embellishments. Hand selected silk is used for all the bedding and I've garnished it with tiny silk bows and lace.

Then there is my latest doll Queen Mim The Summer Fairy...........feast  your eyes:

Queen Mim is dressed in mauve silk and lace with silk (my favorite) ribbon accents. I've sculpted roses on her bodice and applied them during the sculpting process for my total OOAK stylish look. Even her shoes ( I love shoes) have tiny roses sculpted on them. Of course, like all of my one of a kind original custom dolls she is fully poseable. Queen Mim has wings with 3D details, Swarovski crystals and AB glitter to enhance her magical look.

Summer Time......and the creating is FUN!

Hi.....LoreleiBlu here and I thought I'd check in with you before  your world is turned up-side down with school is out for summer, vacations, pool time, visitors, and what ever else goes on in your home.

The temperature is going up inside and outside the LoreleiBlu Miniatures studio with ideas a cooking and new creations being added to my family of miniature characters and one of a kind furniture. A Dressing Table That Begs To Be Heard

Back with Beautiful Miniature Doll Beds

I sure am pleased to be back to doing what I love and do best.........creating OOAK miniature dolls and dollhouse furnishings that set the tone for making your treasured collection even more special!

My days out of the LoreleiBlu studio have given me time to re-charge and appreciate my family of friends and collectors the world over. And to remember how fortunate I am to have such a great supporting cast.

For years Olde World and Shabby Chic have been two favorite styles that move me and it's in those themes that I proudly present two of my latest dollhouse miniature hand crafted beds.

Anastasia - Olde World Bed

I created the Anastasia as a One Of A Kind (OOAK) totally hand painted 1/12th scale dollhouse bed. Painted in a black lacquer base with beautifully painted flowers and fine gold details. 

The Anastasia is dressed in rich silk and fine cotton fabrics, has antique handmade tatted lace on the duvet and features a real fur throw along with six lovely pillows. I've made them so you are free to rearrange and present the comfort and look you're going for. I've also added two beautiful bands of purple silk cord to embellish the base and enhance it's olde world charm. 

Now if Shabby Chic is your cup of tea.........feast your eyes on The Georgiana:

Georgiana -  A Shabby 4-Poster Chic Beauty

I started by painting the Georgiana a lovely sage green in crackle finish and then I distressed it to replicate wear. The customized headboard is hand painted with roses and a blue ribbon swag. I then overlaid a wash to give it the right aged patina of a very old and well loved piece of furniture. 

To achieve the Shabby Chic look I was going for I dressed it in a soft cotton duvet and sheets with a mix of antique and vintage lace. The throw I created at the foot of the bed is from a piece of original ladies handmade lace collar from the 1800's. It is made with silk thread and is as soft as a whisper! To complete the bed dressings there are 6 lovely pillows embellished with silk ribbon (complimenting the headboard), silk cord and antique lace.

Both beds are delicate beauties filled with creative flair and lovely details. They are perfect for your special miniature bedrooms, room box or cottage.
